Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: April 2025

Summary: tayari offers a free tier with no payment required. The Pro subscription is billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis for technical failures that prevented access to the service.

1. About tayari

tayari is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides structured bankability assessments for infrastructure project developers. We offer two tiers of service:

2. Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Paystack, a third-party payment processor. Your subscription renews automatically each month on the date you first subscribed, unless cancelled beforehand.

Payment is processed at the start of each billing period. By subscribing, you authorise tayari to charge your nominated payment method monthly until you cancel.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time by contacting us via the Contact Us page or through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

After cancellation, your account will revert to the Free tier. Your existing projects and assessment data will be retained and remain accessible, but access to Pro modules and reports will be removed.

No refund is issued for the remainder of a billing period upon cancellation, except as provided in Section 4 below.

4. Refunds

Because Pro access is delivered digitally and activated immediately upon payment, we do not issue refunds as a matter of course once modules have been accessed.

However, we will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge date via the Contact Us page, selecting "Refund request" as the subject. We will respond within 2 business days and aim to resolve all requests within 10 business days.

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed via Paystack back to your original payment method. Processing times vary by bank but typically take 5–10 business days.

5. Disputes and Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before raising a chargeback with your bank or card provider. We will work in good faith to resolve any genuine dispute promptly.

In the event of a chargeback, we will provide Paystack and your card issuer with evidence of service delivery, including access logs and assessment records, as required.

6. Project Limits

Free users are limited to one active project. Pro users are limited to five projects per account. Users who require more than five projects should contact us to discuss a custom arrangement.

7. Liability

tayari's liability in any dispute is limited to the amount paid by you in the billing period to which the dispute relates. Our platform is a structured assessment and decision-support tool. It does not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice, and we do not accept liability for decisions made on the basis of its outputs.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
